V. The Creed – Creation
This window illustrates the First Article of the Creed, “God the Father Almighty,” who is creator of the whole universe.
The sun, moon, stars, and earth used as illustrated material carry out the thought expressed in Luther’s Catechism; “I believe that God has created me and all that exists; He has given me and still preserves my body and soul….all this He does out of fatherly and divine goodness and mercy….therefore I surely ought to thank, praise, serve and obey Him.
